Participants in the survival courses will learn how to make shelter out of available stuff, identify and cook native foods, learn fire making and water gathering skills. Other skills involve navigation, signalling, first aid, safety gadgets and more.

You will learn why and how people need rescuing in the wilderness as well as the psychological stresses you may be under if the worst happens. Learn not to be afraid when you are forced out of your comfort zone, and how to take control of your own life and circumstances. Survival is not as much about what you know, as about what goes on in your head.

You may be hungry, cold, or uncomfortable but at the end you will be able to say that it was uncomfortable but I can cope and survive if it happens to me. It wasn't as bad as I thought.
